Lel is a contemporary artist living, working and exhibiting regularly in Liverpool. "I find inspiration for my work all around us in shapes, colours, textures, lighting and emotions. Each painting is uniquely designed, combining these inspirations with past and present experiences. I like to experiment with new
styles and designs, playing with colour, lighting and movement to create
a feeling of change that allows the viewer to see different elements they
may first have missed. The use of metallic paints and texture add an extra
dimension to the work, creating a depth and richness of colour, whilst
changing light conditions throughout the day reveal new identities for
a painting, as different areas of the image are highlighted." |
